Moniegro ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information obtained from users ("you" or "your") of the Moniegro platform, website at www.moniegro.com, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including visitors, registered users, and affiliate partners. By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

As a non-custodial trading automation tool, Moniegro is designed with privacy and security as foundational principles. We collect only what is necessary to provide our services and never sell your personal information to third parties.

Information We Collect

2.1Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account or use the Platform, you may provide us with:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password (stored in encrypted, hashed form — never in plain text)
  • Country of residence
  • Billing information (for Activation Fee processing)
  • Communications you send to our support team

2.2Exchange API Credentials

To connect your exchange account, you provide API keys. These are handled with the highest security protocols:

  • API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
  • API keys are transmitted exclusively over TLS/SSL-secured connections
  • API keys are never stored in plain text, logged, or shared with any third party
  • Only execution-level permissions are accepted — withdrawal permissions must be disabled

2.3Trading & Performance Data

To deliver and improve our services, we collect and process:

  • Trade execution records (entry/exit prices, trade size, timestamps)
  • Profit and loss data per trade
  • Performance Wallet balance and transaction history
  • Connected exchange account identifiers (sub-account IDs)
  • Platform usage metrics and dashboard interactions

2.4Technical & Device Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform:

  • IP address and approximate geolocation
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and clickstream data
  • Referring URLs
  • Session identifiers and cookies (see Section 8)

2.5Affiliate & Referral Data

If you participate in the Moniegro Affiliate Program, we collect referral link activity, referred user identifiers, commission calculations, and payout details.

How We Use Your Information

3.1 Service Delivery

  • Creating and maintaining your Moniegro account
  • Connecting to and executing trades on your exchange sub-account
  • Calculating, deducting, and reconciling performance fees from your Performance Wallet
  • Providing access to your real-time performance dashboard
  • Communicating service updates, trade notifications, and account alerts

3.2 Security & Fraud Prevention

  • Verifying your identity and preventing unauthorized access
  • Detecting and investigating suspicious account activity
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and Prohibited Activities policy
  • Complying with legal obligations, including anti-money laundering (AML) requirements

3.3 Platform Improvement

  • Analysing usage patterns to improve the Platform's features and performance
  • Conducting internal research and algorithm optimization
  • Testing new features and improvements

3.4 Communications

  • Sending transactional emails (account confirmations, fee receipts, password resets)
  • Sending service announcements and important policy updates
  • Sending marketing communications, where you have given consent (opt-in only)

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting privacy@moniegro.com.

3.5 Legal & Compliance

  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
  • Responding to lawful requests from government authorities
  • Protecting the legal rights and interests of Moniegro and its users

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & UK GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing required to deliver the services you have contracted for (account management, trade execution, fee settlement)
  • Legitimate interests: Security monitoring, fraud prevention, platform analytics, and improving our services
  • Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and AML requirements
  • Consent: Marketing communications and non-essential cookies, where you have provided explicit opt-in consent

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Information Sharing & Disclosure

Moniegro does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist with platform operations, including:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Payment processors (for Activation Fee collection)
  • Email delivery services
  • Analytics and monitoring platforms

These providers are contractually bound to process your data only as instructed by Moniegro and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

5.2 Connected Exchanges

By using the Platform, you authorize Moniegro to interact with your connected exchange (Bybit, Binance, MEXC, or others) via your API keys for trade execution purposes. Moniegro does not share your personal identity information with these exchanges beyond what is required for API authentication.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Moniegro, our users, or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform prior to any such transfer.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, subject to the following:

  • Active account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 7 years for financial and compliance records
  • Trade history and performance data: Retained for a minimum of 5 years for regulatory compliance
  • API keys: Deleted within 30 days of account closure or API disconnection
  • Support communications: Retained for 3 years
  • Marketing consent records: Retained for 5 years from last interaction

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with industry best practices.

Data Security

Moniegro employs industry-standard and enterprise-grade security measures to protect your information:

  • AES-256 encryption for all API keys and sensitive credentials at rest
  • TLS 1.3 for all data in transit
  • Regular penetration testing and security audits
  • Role-based access controls limiting internal data access to authorized personnel only
  • Multi-factor authentication required for internal system access
  • 24/7 security monitoring and intrusion detection

Despite our best efforts, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the Platform at your own risk and are encouraged to take appropriate security precautions on your own devices and exchange accounts.

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8.1 Types of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies and similar tracking technologies:

Strictly necessary cookies

Required for the Platform to function (session management, authentication, security). Cannot be disabled.

Functional cookies

Remembering your preferences (language, display settings). Enabled by default; can be disabled.

Analytics cookies

Understanding how users interact with the Platform to improve performance. Requires your consent.

Marketing cookies

Tracking referral sources and affiliate campaign performance. Requires your consent.

8.2 Managing Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit, your browser settings, or by contacting us at privacy@moniegro.com. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal requirements
  • Right to restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to object: Object to processing for direct marketing
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw previously given consent
  • Right to lodge a complaint: File a complaint with your local authority

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to privacy@moniegro.com. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

International Data Transfers

Moniegro may process and store your data in countries outside of your home jurisdiction, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where this occurs, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant data protection authorities, to ensure your data is protected to an equivalent standard.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@moniegro.com and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including connected exchanges (Bybit, Binance, MEXC) and social media platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with. Moniegro is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to know: What personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
  • Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising
  • Right to limit use: Limit use of sensitive personal information
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

The most current version of this Policy will always be available at moniegro.com/privacy. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
